START HERE
Set up your first weekly plan
You need a calendar, a blank page and about ten minutes. The goal is not a perfect plan; it is a plan you can start on Monday.
1. Put the fixed points down
List the appointments, meetings and commitments that cannot move. These are the edges of the week.
2. Choose three outcomes
Write three results that would make the week feel worthwhile. Turn each one into a first action.
3. Place the first block
Give each first action a day and a realistic duration. Add a short buffer after anything involving other people.
4. Leave the rest visible
Keep everything else on a separate list. It is not lost; it is simply not one of this week’s three outcomes.
A QUICK CHECK
Before Monday
- Three outcomes are written as results, not activities.
- Each outcome has a first action and a day.
- There is at least one buffer block.
- The Friday review is on the calendar.
